September 5, 2007: In case you missed it from the front page, I did a super update! I haven't had internet for a week, so I'd been unable to work on my on-line store. So, instead, I worked on ARC-- including writing the last two chapters of the story and the Epilogue. ALL of which are now available! Everything from the prologue to the epilogue is up! But Chapters 34-42 don't have illustrations (and neither does the Epilogue, which needs illustrations in this new version). I'll be putting up illustrations as I get them done, and of course doing editing to the story as I find mistakes. Other than that though, I hope you've enjoyed the first installment of ARC!

January 16, 2007: Update's a day late, but I decided to wait a day so that I wouldn't rush and I could do a bigger update. Admit it, you love me. Chapter Thirty-One: Promises Broken is now up! For anyone playing the home game.

I learned from tracking my page hits that there are some people coming to the page and ONLY looking at the Links, which is irritating me. I'm glad I had a good list of Links but.. Use your bookmarks if you want to repeatedly visit those sites, okay? Come to my site to my stuff. ^_^ It's not really THAT bad, is it? So, anyway, I took off some dead links and just left up a few affiliates, a link or two to my other galleries, and some convention links. Hopefully I'll be back into the swing of updating now!
November 21, 2006: So, the convention was really, really, really super!awesome. As with every Anime:USA I go to, I seem to come back more inspired to work on ARC and make it better and better. And, of course, I got to talking with Byron on the way home about the story, and we realized that there were several edits that needed to happen in earlier chapters to make some of the recent story events make more sense. I've been making these edits today, and have compiled a list for your viewing pleasure. ^_~
-- All Chapter: Replaced old coding with new coding. Hooray for standards!
-- Chapter One: Moved Yasakuto yelling at the head of his guards up in the chapter. Added a part with Ryoku to the end of that.
-- Chapter Two: Edited portions of the dialogue at the very beginning with Tony and Andrea (mainly added a few sentences)
-- Chapter Three: Added a certain dark-haired figure that wears a denim jacket sitting next to Bear at the bar.
-- Chapter Seven: Edited dialogue between Ryoku and Yasakuto at the beginning of the chapter.
-- Chapter Twenty-One: I added Ryoku making a phone call before he goes to meet Yasakuto, then changed the dialogue between Yasakuto and Ryoku at the end of the next section.
-- Chapter Twenty-Two: Added a few sentences while Andrea's watching people at the banquet. Nothing big.

November 1, 2006: Hey folks! Happy Halloween! Well, one day late, but oh well! Just one more chapter update before Anime: USA!! Hope to see some of you guys there. ^_~ For today's update, I'm serving up Chapter Twenty-Nine: Out of Shadow! I know I say this almost every update, but I really can't believe I've gotten this far in the story. Chapter Twenty-Nine is kind of special to me, since it's the first battle of the ending. October 15, 2006: Just a small update today. Chapter 28: The Ronin and the Shogun is up for your enjoyment. I thought I wasn't going to get it done on time for a bit there, especially since the third illustration was killing my brain. But all went well and it's on time. Enjoy!
October 1, 2006: So, it was my first week at the new job, and I think that once I really get it down I'm really going to like it. I like the steady hours already, so that's good. I was bound and determined to get this update out on time since I've been late for the past like two months. SO! Here it is. Chapter 27: Accusations is out, and that means the ending has begun!! Holy crap, who ever thought we would've made it this far!? It's been amazing and I cannot wait to start posting up the coming chapters because I think they're awesome. ^_~ We also got a new section in the Links Page, so ARC now has Affiliates. Just two at the moment, but some of the other sites might get shuffled up there. Be sure to also check out the Changes page!
September 16, 2006: The past week has been absolutely INSANE.. We got a new car (and by new I mean, it's actually an '06, but we got it for about 10K less than the damn thing is worth), our roommate got a car, and I got a NEW JOB! Yes folks, I'm leaving the part-time Office Depot behind-- which kinda sucks because I liked having access to all that equipment-- and going to full time work at a better pay rate in an office. Fan-friggin-tastic. I can't wait to start (my first day is the 25th, so wish me luck!)
Anyway, Chapter 26: Stakeout is up! Sorry it's late (that seems to be a theme with me lately.. hopefuly the steady work schedule will fix that problem), but it's not like anyone was beating down my liz@oap-studios.com address, so I don't feel too bad about it. I do think though that we're going to see a layout change here soon. Hope you all enjoy the new chapter, and don't forget to check out the Changes Page for the skinny on it!
September 1, 2006:I know the site update is a little late but.. I have an excuse better than work, laziness, or anything else I've had lately... My apartment was three small inches away from being flooded with water, and because of that, we no longer have a functioning car. I actually though for a little while that we might have to evacuate, and I was scared to death that I was going to lose the computer that houses all of ARC.. So, we got lucky though, overall. Our car is dead (but fully covered by insurance), and our roommate had a Magic deck and two Warhammer books ruined and a few other things water damaged, but really, we got EXTREMELY lucky. And the things that were damaged are just THINGS, they can be replaced, even if it doesn't seem like they can right now.
So anyway, Chapter 25: The Experimental Army is available! I'm really proud of the third illustration. By the way, this chapter is dedicated to all the fans who read the rough draft and get me working and inspired. It's becuase of you guys that I'm still doing this now. And, in honor of those who were the original fans, I've made the setting of this chapter very special. XD You'll all recognize it. August 15, 2006: Well, I am back from Otakon 2006, which was a BLAST. I gave out a ton of promotional stuff for ARC, met a lot of really great people, and generally had a good weekend. My sales in the Artist's Alley were a total bust, but that's okay. Chapter 23: Night Sky and Chapter 24: Book Burning are both up now that I'm back from the convention. You can track how these are different from the rough draft on the Changes Page Also, I updated Bear and Foxfire's Character Pages.... Well, at the very least, I updated their pictures with ones I like a LOT more... including the best picture of Bear I've ever done. You wouldn't think that he'd be hard to draw, but he is. @_@
Oh, and if anyone's tried to E-mail me, I'm sorry... I did realize that the Fandom Page still had my old e-mail address. I do NOT use Hotmail any longer. You can send me fan-art (or anything else, really) at liz@oap-studios.com. I love to hear from people about the story, so please don't hesitate to drop me a line!
Especially if it's about something important... like say... all the links on the Image map being screwed up. -_-; I fixed all of that though.

April 27, 2006: SURPRISE!!!! Chapter update 3 days early!!!! Please enjoy Chapter 17: The Warehouse Raid. I'm leaving for a road trip today (hooray for vacation!) and I'll be on the road back on the first, so I busted my butt to get something up by today. Just don't be surprised if, on the second, I change Illustrations #2 and #5.... the other three illustrations turned out fantastic, but I hate those two. -_-;; So yeah, enjoy the crappy placeholders, and I should have better art in a few days.
April 15, 2006: I decided to wish everyone a Happy Easter by giving you two chapters of ARC this update instead of just one... Plus we're getting to "the good stuff" and I'm really excited to start getting some reactions on the events building in the story. March 30, 2006: Two days early, Chapter 14: Where Is Home? is up and illustrated! I also want to thank my fiancé Byron, who is going to be taking over as my web-monkey pretty much from this update on. He’ll be putting in the code and uploading the site, but it’ll still be me writing and drawing everything, so no worries.

January 15, 2006: HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Hope everyone had a great and safe holiday! Chapter Eight: The Seventh Dragon and Chapter Nine: Fight of Pride are both up and fully illustrated. Sorry for the super-long delay. Work + Holidays = Dead Liz. :(
I removed the Aftershock stuff from most of the site except the Gallery and the Fandom sections. I was worried that it's confusing new visitors, and since I'll be reworking Aftershock anyway once the new story is complete I figured it was time to tear down the old version.
I hope to get a regular schedule of putting out new chapters. I've been thinking that at the very least I need to update on the First and Fifteenth every month. Maybe I'll be able to actually stick to it. @_@;;

May 17, 2005: Okay, Chapter Six: Contact is now up! I hope to have Chapters Seven and Eight up soon (illustrations for those chapters are already in progress even as I write this). As always, check out the Changes Page for a list of changes for all chapters.
I also found a bunch of fanart lying around my place that had been given to me but I'd never scanned, so the Fandom got some updates as well. Joe Silver, Jenova Silver, and Rei-chan were among those whose artwork I found lying around. I also found artwork by two newcomers: Brent and Courtney, so check out their pieces as well.

February 2005: Another huge update! And it's about time too, huh?
-- We've moved!! (As if you didn't notice that already, right?). Headquarters is now a sub-domain of my main page, OAP-Studios.com.
-- Updated page navigation. I got tired of the frames and wanted to make my own navigation bar image, so I decided to revamp the site. No fancy rollover images or anything, but they're not necessary for a good page layout. ^_~
-- New Character Profile stuff, including all new images AND fully updated, more extensive profiles for all the characters! This does include the Aftershock Character Profile page, which now has the full 20 profiles it's supposed to have.
-- New stuff all over the Gallery, which includes a new navigational system specifically for that. I weeded out older pictures, put up some new. And the College Work section has gotten a HUGE update, so check it out.
-- Wow, I actually updated the Fandom! It's also now located on this server instead of at Tripod, so there shouldn't be any weird problems with it.
-- Updated the About Me page, since I have a new format for the character bios. I subject myself to the same profile that my characters get subjected to. ^_^;; Within reason, of course...
